Shaun Alexander, renowned top fashion photographer who captured my essence in my true self image. I wanted a photographer who would see me as I see myself. I have had many photos taken over the years, but there was something missing in those photos. I was very lucky to come across Shaun’s website and contacted him. He was in Europe and he told me that when he visits US, he will let me know. We met in LA and I realized how down to earth he was inspite of his fame and success. He showed me some of his work and it was simply brilliant. He is very talented, has a great personality and was very easy to work with. I recognize the quality of his work and the images he creates, as I am a world traveler and have come across some amazing pieces of art and photography. Prior to the workshop, Shaun was available to discuss the workshop and

answer questions and concerns.

He was very approachable and easy-going. Throughout the workshop, he

helped make the students feel

very comfortable with his caring demeanor.

In the hands-on class, for the first two days, we learned Shaun’s lighting set-

up (both inside and outside

with mixed lighting). We had a chance to watch the hair and make-up artist

get the models ready for the

photoshoot. Shaun was also hands-on with the styling of the models. He’s

extremely talented with both

make-up and styling. The students were also given a chance to style the

models. The models were all

extremely talented, brought a lot of energy and professionalism. Shaun gave

the students technical

advice and showed us how to direct the models. He managed the time of the

photoshoot very well.

All of us were given several turns to take photographs of each model in

different styles. On the third day,

Shaun shared his post-processing style and taught us how to use photoshop

tools. He helped turn several

of our photographs into beautiful glossy magazine style photographs and

fine artwork. Each one of the

students were excited and amazed by their own photographs. Shaun also

discussed the business of

photography, waivers, equipment and answered many of our questions. I

also really enjoyed getting to

know Shaun and hearing some of his past photography experiences. He’s an

interesting, creative,

grounded and genuine person. It was obvious that he cares about his

student’s success. After the

photography workshop, Shaun has been available to answer questions and

has also made himself

available to be an ongoing mentor.

I look forward to putting all of the new found knowledge towards my own

Working one-on-one with Shaun in

Los Angeles was such a privilege. Shaun is very welcoming and kind. He

Just finished an incredible second day of shooting with Shaun Alexander.

What an amazing day! He really provides a complete experience.

Beautiful Models, fantastic hair stylists, amazing make-up and styling, and

access to a beautiful photography studio. But most importantly, he really

gives you access to his years of experience as a top fashion photographer.

We covered an incredible amount of information in a few days, everything

from technical lighting concepts, photo-retouching/artistry, down to the

subtleties of directing and bringing out the best performances from your

models.
All of this while at the same time making the entire process fun,

spontaneous, and very very hands-on. I cant wait to get back to my studio,

Amazing!
I am very new to this world of modeling with little experience so truth be

My wife is a budding fashion photographer, and during our recent trip to Los

Angeles arranged a private 7 hour workshops with Shaun. While the studio

he arranged was a bit of a distance from our location, it provided an

excellent backdrop for a photo shoot. Shaun is a very
