I personally love photographing kids, because I am a proud father of two amazing kids that gave the opportunity to understand and learn the art of photographing children, especially in the most natural and candid environments
In order to create an natural flow of energy with kids while trying to have a professional photo session, I found out that by allowing them to get involved with the creative process and explaining every step of the way, even the lighting or styling, you can slowly gain their trust in your abilities and their sense of comfort with you as a photographer. Once the kids or comfortable with you, they will do whatever you ask and sometimes they even surprise you with genius ideas and unique personalities that I have only seen with my little clients, VS the bigger adults…
